Taiga has only ONE VOLUME

Taiga Fujimura bursts into the house with her usual lack of subtlety. "HI SHIROU! I'M READY FOR BREAKFAST! I HOPE YOU'RE COOKING SOMETHING GREAT TO EAT!!!!" She yells. You wince, looking away from the stove, which already has its burners full of food cooking away.

"You know, I'm right here." You say, looking at Taiga. "Yeah, sorry about that Shirou. You know, I just get so exited when it comes to food. Speaking of, I would like to come with you the next time you need to do groceries?" Taiga asks. "It's okay, Fuji-nee. Rider can help carry some of the groceries." You say. Taiga gasps in astonishment.

"SHIROU EMIYA DID I JUST HEAR YOU TELL ME THAT YOU MAKE A BLIND WOMAN CARRY YOUR GROCERIES!?!? UNACCEPTABLE!!! YOU HAVE A PERFECTLY GOOD WOMAN IN ME, SO I'M GOING WITH YOU AND THAT'S FINAL MISTER." You shiver. That woman really has only one volume. "Okay, okay. Just.. stop yelling. Please."

Taiga beams a smile at you. "Great, it's settled! You and I will be going this weekend! It's a date!" You know better than to open your mouth again after all that shouting. But, a date!? Did Taiga just ask you out on an actual date?? You've never seen Taiga as anything more than a friend, caretaker, and teacher. Or maybe you're reading into it too much? You'll have to wait to the weekend to find out, so you try to put your thoughts to the side and just focus on finishing up the breakfast.

You slip back into the zone and soon enough the food's done and you're serving it up on the table. Taiga begins stuffing her face, "So did you hear the news?" You shake your head, "No, what's going on?" You ask as you dig in to your own plate. "Well apparently there's been a huge gas leak in the train systems. Lots of folks got hurt. School's been cancelled." You flip on the TV to find it conveniently on the news, talking about that very same story.

"Is everyone okay?" You ask. Taiga nods, "Seems to be. I have to go to the campus today for a teacher's meeting to get more information." You nod, "Ok, thanks." "Be careful if you're going out today, okay Shirou?" Taiga says. You assure her you'll be fine and back at the house before she knows it.
