What next?
[Corrin] Time for training
Hurriedly, Corrin changed. It didn't take him too long to get to the training area. Though when he got there, Xander met him with some disapproval.
"You'll have to be on time, brother, if you ever wish to leave this place," he remarked.
"Sorry, I...just had a poor night of sleep," {first-name} replied. Xander shook his head as if to say there could be no excuses.
"Get ready, brother. Today is truly your testing day," Xander said with a slight grin. The two had been training for quite some time. It had been a few months since they started and already Corrin could feel the improvements. Nonetheless, Xander could still beat his ass senseless, easily. Taking up his practice sword in hand, he was ready.
First, they started with the typical routine of practicing techniques. Although, Xander was never in need in most of these skills, he still practiced them nonetheless and Corrin followed suit. The desire to live with his family was what motivated Corrin. His memories were trapped within the fort he lived in now and although he loved everyone else in it, he wished to be amongst his family.
The next phase was much more combat-oriented. Taking on Xander was nothing easy. Even with completely equal weapons, Xander's experience proved to be too much for Corrin.
"C'mon, Corrin! You'll never get out of here with the way you're swinging!" Xander shouted at him. He grinned nonchalantly at the younger prince. In a swift movement, Corrin caught Xander completely off-guard. In a quick slash, he knocked his older brother off his horse. For a second, Xander's grin had dissipated, though as he hit the ground, it was replaced with a cheeky smile. "Well done," he said getting up, "I suppose I should tell you the news."
What does he tell him?
