Now, Zoey knew that she was innocent. We know she's Innocent. Vince is just being a scumbag. The only sensible thing to do is to clear her own name.
So she called up Danielle and and tried to clear things up, but due to a strange set of circumstances, she remained roped up in this entire situation that was completely out of her control.
She had to find a way out of this, or else her career, which had only just started, wouldn't be allowed to truly flourish!
