"Jane, hush, you and your potty mouth will get us in trouble," says Liara as they step off the elevator on and head to the left.

Jane leads Liara into her Executive Officer chambers to see Miranda Lawson finishing the video log for the Illusive Man to review.

"...did her best but unfortunately we were unable to scuttle the Collector ship. We did collect some sensor data which we will forward to you for further analysis. Log complete." Miranda looks up to see Jane waiting patiently to introduce Liara.

Miranda Lawson was the perfect woman. She had black hair with piercing blue eyes. Her face had a pouty look that made men hard and women jealous. Her tits were a large Double D but with genetic modification, they were perkier than a teenage cheerleader. Miranda trying to contain herself as she is a deeply rooted xenophobe, "Glad to finally meet you," she says through gritted teeth and a false smile. "Shepard has told me so much about you."

"Liara will be staying here for a few days and she will require our resources for her research. I fully expect you to allow her full access to our systems and files," ordered Jane knowing full well about her xenophobia.

"Of course, Shepard, she will get access to all files pertaining to her research," responded Miranda with an icy glare at her commanding officer.

"Come with me Liara, lets meet the rug rats."

Jane took Liara to the Mess Hall to meet the few crewman on lunch break and the Mess Sergeant.

"Hello, Shepard! I hear we're headed for the Citadel. We can finally pickup those high quality rations we need," bellowed Mess Sergeant Gardener.

Mess Sergeant Rupert Gardner was a eezo miner before he lost his family to batarian raiders. He then joined Cerberus to make a difference. Gardner was a giant of a man coming in at around 6' 6" and well built after decades of mining. He was a skilled cook, plumber, electrician, and any other service task the Normandy needs. He is the jack-of-all-trades on the Normandy.

"So you can stop serving chef's surprise. I'll make sure Joker moves heaven and earth to get us to the Citadel," joked Jane. "This is Liara everyone. She is one of the original crew of the SR-1 and one of my oldest friends."

After a few hellos, Jane leads Liara to Medical to see the good Doctor.

"Dr. Chakwas! It's been a long time," greets Liara as they enter the med bay.

Dr. Karin Chakwas was skilled doctor who was trained both in the operating room in medical school and in the field by the Alliance. She considered herself the mother of all the crew on the Normandy and even though she got offers from Huerta Memorial, she never considered leaving her family. She was a mature woman who had a lasting beauty. Her hair had a blend of black and grey and made many wonder if either the grey or the black was artificial. She was never had big breasts and now in her mature age her C-cup bosom was perky in part from the physical requirements of the Alliance. She had a large ass that had been toned to perfection and as she saw little combat, her skin was smooth and silky. "Liara, it's wonderful to see you," responds Chakwas as she hugs Liara. "I miss the conversation. Can you imagine that no one aboard this star ship can enjoy a conversation about the physiology of hanar? I'm glad you're back."

"I won't be here long, I hope but I will be sure to come down to the med bay and have an educated conversation with a scholarly equal."

"Well, I just wanted to let you know she's back aboard, Doctor. I am showing her the ship and meeting the crew."

"Well make sure you both come back, Jane. You must complete that monthly physical. I must check to see if those cybernetics are properly functioning. We can't have you breaking down in the field."

"Alright Doctor, I'll see you then," said Jane as they quickly retreated from the room. "Lets get out of here before she starts to take out the probes," whispers Jane as they exit the med bay.

Jane leads Liara down the bulkhead to the Main Battery room to check on Garrus.

"Garrus, is every thing calibrated to your specifications?" questioned Jane in lighthearted banter at the turian tinkering with a few panels underneath some armaments.

"Never is Shepard, probably never will be. Liara, I've got a few men hauling up your container. It weighs a ton," remarked Garrus as he didn't bother to slide out from under the armaments.

"Twenty tons, actually. The lab will have to be quarantined and decontaminated to be safe."

"Liara, we have state of the art equipment built to handle this very kind of thing," says Garrus, "EDI can analyze the Orb for any harmful types of radiation."

"I have run every test in my system over ten thousand times in the elevator. There is no harmful radiation. What your team simply picked up were low levels of radon gas, Dr. T'Soni," announced EDI in her synthesized voice.

"So it's not safe EDI?" asks Jane.

"No, it is harmless. You would get more radiation from granite counter tops and microwaves," responds EDI.

"Jane, let's get the Orb out," says Liara as she is excited to finally touch the Orb.

"You must meet the rest of the crew Liara. All in due time," responds Jane as they exit the Main Battery and head to the elevator. Boarding the elevator, Jane asks, "Unless you want to skip to the Captain's Cabin?"
