The Return

(MS) An Unquiet Return

Not wanting to arouse any suspicious, Liara headed back to the Normandy, exceedingly pleased with the evening's events and more than a little weary as her body gained its strength back after her orgasm. She was happy to see the frigate, parked in the docking bay. As she signed back in aboard the ship, she tried to avoid much contact with anyone. It seemed no one had noticed that anything was any different about her, the crew waving or nodding politely as Liara walked along the bridge of the Normandy. She felt slightly less on edge as she approached the laboratory.

What she hadn't counted on—and, by all rights, probably should have—was Mordin tearing the whole lab apart, his nimble fingers searching around the room frantically. Papers were strewn about, drawers and chairs were overturned, and the doctor was on all fours, murmuring to himself. He barely paid any mind to Liara, who stood confused for a moment before breaking Mordin out of his frenzied searching.

“Dr. Solus...what are you doing? What have you done to the lab?”

Liara's voice made Mordin jumped, who almost bumped his head on the table he was searching under as he rose to see the asari standing before him.

"Dr.T'Soni! Back! TerribleNews...PossiblyTrouble. Can'tFindTheObjectCouldn'tHaveBeenMisplaced; PossibleSomeoneStoleIt? Cerberus? No; Wouldn'tKnowWhatItWas. ACrewMember? NoRealReason. Perhaps—”'

Liara broke the salarian's train of thought, reaching into the pocket of her pants and pulling the device out.

“I have the device, doctor. I...took it to a contact on Omega. I thought perhaps she would have some insight into the device's function, but she seemed every bit as puzzled as we are.”

Mordin lunged forward, attempting to grab the worn metal disk out of Liara's hands, who deftly avoided his grasp and pulled it out of his reach.

“Dr. Solus, what has gotten into you? Are you alright? What's wrong with you?”

The salarian took a deep breath, trying to gather his thoughts before his torrent of speech began again.

“TheObject! AfterILeftIPutOutFeelersToSTGContacts. TheyUncoveredAncientTextsAboutADeviceThatAllowsUserToInsertYourThoughtsIntoOrganicLife. YouMustGiveItToMe. TheObject! WeWereWrongBothOfUs. ItsReaperTech. ExtremelyDangerous. SeemsToMimicIndoctrinationDocumentedRegardingSovereignAndSaren. WeMustGetItOffTheShipImmediately...NoMustDestroyIt. CouldCorruptEntirePopulaceIfLeftUnguarded. NeedToIsolateToPreventFurtherRiskOfIndoctrination.”

Liara's heart skipped a beat as Mordin explained his findings. Truthfully, though, she knew she was more concerned about parting with the device than it being of any real danger. Liara confirmed in her own mind that she was capable of handling such power, and that in her hands, she would be able to use the Object responsibly. Tonight was merely a test of its potential, Liara reasoned to herself, and if she was going to make good on helping Shepard as she promised, she would need to prevent the salarian from getting his hands on the device.

“Calm down, Dr. Solus. I'm sure it's nothing that bad. Are you absolutely certain this was made by the Reapers?”

“Couldn'tBeAnyMoreCertain. Double-no-triple-no-quadrupleChecked; Couldn'tBelieveFindings. DeviceMayPredateReapers. ThatIsWhyWeMustGetItAwayFromHere!”

It became apparent that Mordin wasn't going to be swayed, too convinced of the potential danger that the device posed to the crew of the Normandy. But, Liara thought to herself, she didn't need to convince Mordin. She had other ways of making him see her point of view.

We—no, I—must keep the device. It is mine, and I am the only one who will be allowed access to it. You will tell absolutely no one about your findings, erase all correspondence with your contacts, and will cease doing any further research regarding it.

Liara's command sunk into Mordin's mind, the salarian beginning to calm and slow as he caught his breath and looked around the room.

“Of course, may be prudent to do further research before throwing away such a strange device. May hold some key to defeating Reapers. I will entrust its protection and research to you, Miss T'Soni. I believe that Shepard has some other tasks she wishes me to work on. Apologies for being unable to assist you.”

Liara gave the doctor a sweet, tender smile, placing the device back into her pocket as Mordin began straightening up the lab.

“It's no trouble, Dr. Solus. The device will be safe in my care; I can guarantee you that.”

Just as she finished comforting Mordin, Liara heard a commotion on the bridge.

Jack had returned to the Normandy and caused quite a stir among its crew. The biotic walked into the frigate as pretty as she please, but her body still reeked of cum and was stained with the stuff as she casually strode in through the airlock. No one could say anything, not sure how to engage with such a dangerous woman or approach the topic of her lewd appearance. All the crew members could do was stare blankly as she walked through the bridge, as if nothing about her was even remotely out of place. Liara could barely look at Jack as she walked towards the asari, but it was just as difficult for her to keep her eyes of Jack and marveling at her handiwork and that of her new device. Only Jane, who had returned only a few minutes earlier, had the nerve to bring up Jack's look.

“Jack...what in the hell is wrong with you? Why the hell do you look like that?” the commander demanded in a stern tone. Jack simply smiled, giving a wicked wink to her commanding officer.

“I had a little fun, Shepard. You should try it some time. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to take a shower...” Jack pushed past Jane, bumping into her shoulder before trying to make her way to the elevator down to her hidey hole beneath Engineering. As she did, Miranda couldn't help but comment on Jack's foul odor and her lewd behavior.

“Disgusting...I can't believe Shepard thinks she needs you for this mission...” Miranda's voice dripping in superiority and loathing at the convict biotic who had been butting heads with her ever since Jack joined the crew. The comment was enough to slow Jack's pace, turning to Miranda before entering the elevator shaft.

“Listen, you Cerberus cheerleader bitch. Just because I know I what want and like to have a good time doesn't mean that you can give me any shit, do you understand?” Jack pulled close to Miranda, the stench of cum on her breath as well as emanating off her body. Miranda turned away to escape the smell and to avert a repeat performance of yesterday, but Jack kept close to make her adversary squirm.

“Besides, you wouldn't know what to do with a good, big cock if it was waving right in your fucking face. I bet you've only gotten fucked by these limp-dick Cerberus boys, huh?” Jack continued on with a laugh as she stepped towards Miranda.

“I don't have to answer that, you twat. Now get out of my sight before I throw you through a wall...” Miranda threatened. Jack pulled away, still smiling before she flicked Miranda off as the doors to the elevators shut, taking her to the Engineering deck of the Normandy. The crew was still abuzz by the events, but a few quick, barking orders from Jane put them back to their work.

In the hustle, Liara disappeared, secreting herself away out of sight to the Starboard Observation deck on the Crew deck, safe from the eyes of the crew. Jack's scent and unapologetic bravado turned the young asari on more than she could have guessed, rubbing herself over the fabric of her garments as she remembered the details of the evening: Jack's first encounter with the mercenary captain, then getting gang-fucked by his underlings like a common whore, and finally returning to the Normandy coated in their cum. Each sordid detail made her breathing labored, as Liara knew that she needed to have that feeling of control again. Besides, the device still needed more testing, she reasoned to herself.

"Attention crew, due to a broken fuel line, we will be staying on Omega for a few days. Try not to get in trouble while on shore leave," announces Jane over the ship wide comms.

The fuel line kept the Normandy grounded for the next few days, over which Jack and Miranda continued to find things to bicker about, despite the frequent reprimands of Shepard. The rumors of Jack's look a few days previous still circulated around the crew, wondering just what Jack might have been thinking showing up to the ship looking as she did. Some of the mates even joked about Miranda's prudishness, prompting her to either pretend she didn't hear them or make them regret their words as much as she could without getting into trouble with Shepard. It was a rather turbulent couple of days, ones that Liara couldn't help but think she had a hand in.

Jane's team spent a lot of time out on Omega while waiting for the repairs, many of them sticking together for one reason or another as they enjoyed their shore leave, waiting till the Normandy was ready to fly again. Tensions between Miranda and Jack were still running deep, the biotic taking every opportunity to taunt Miranda's icy nature and lack of adventure. Miranda tried to ignore her teasing, but after an hour of incessant nagging and prodding in front of the crew in the mess hall drove her to lash out at the biotic.

“Listen, you tart! I have had plenty of 'experiences' with men before, not that I need to answer to you! Just because I don't spread my legs for everyone who buys me a drink doesn't mean that I'm a virgin!”

Miranda's words proved to be more sharp than Jack or her had anticipated, as Liara and the rest of the crew watched their scene from the sidelines.

“Yeah, I'll bet you have. You probably let that boss of yours ride that ass any time he wants, don't you?”

Miranda fumed, unable to do anything but stammer in disbelief as Jack gave a mean-spirited laugh. She would have torn her face off had the crew not been around. Her rage boiled as Jack began to walk toward the elevator, leaving Miranda her final, baited barb.

“Prove me wrong, Cerbicunt!” yelled Jack as the doors closed on the elevator.

Miranda's face was beet red, her fists and teeth clenched as she searched for any comeback to Jack's taunt, but her efforts proved fruitless as Jack managed to have gotten the last word in. The biotic's words, of course, were heard by Liara, who decided that now would be as good a time as any to test her new Object. And besides, she knew that Miranda would want to prove Jack wrong anyway as a way of getting even.

You'll travel with me until I give you further orders.

Miranda walked over to the asari, sashaying her hips and placing a hand on her waist to show of her perfect, hourglass figure. She stood in front of Liara expectantly, with a sort of “get on with it” look as she was still incited by Jack's commentary. Liara nodded, and the two of them made off into the backstreets of Omega.

There were quite a few suitable candidates to sate Miranda's desire for **** as the duo walked wordlessly through the red light district of the colony, which was the majority of the asteroid base. Liara didn't want the feeling to get stale, however. Yes, there was an endless number of men who would gladly use Miranda as a fucktoy, but she knew that Miranda needed a little something special to prove Jack wrong. Regular men simply wouldn't do for her little puppet.

She spotted two vorcha who looked to be members of the Blood Pack gang standing in a corner, guarding either side of a door that had something probably very obscene scrawled on it in krogan. Liara thought nothing of it until she saw a few human women escorted into the door by a salarian, sparking her curiosity.

Remain here for a moment, please. I shall return shortly.

“Alright, well, hurry back; I don't like the looks of this place,” Miranda responded. Liara knew she didn't have to worry about Miranda; it's not like she could go anywhere even if she wanted to. The asari made her way over to where the filthy vorcha mercenaries stood, giving her a mean, violent glare as she approached.

“Excuse me, I couldn't help but notice those women who entered this establishment...if I may ask, what's inside?”

The smaller of the two vorcha growled, but the other seemed to at least have some inclination for language.

“None of blue bitch's business! Get out before Shraak blasts you!” the vorcha growled as he pulled his rifle from behind his back, trying to be as intimidating and menacing as possible. The threat was an empty on to Liara, who knew she had nothing to fear from the vile creatures as she slipped a hand into her pocket and clenched her precious new toy.

You'll tell me everything about what goes on in here...now.

The two seemed more freindly immediately, the power of the device showing its potency once again as their attitudes calmed and became more helpful.

“Getting ready for big krogan show! Lots of people gathered tonight! Going to break them in half! Will be good time!” the mercenary answered. Liara took a moment to understand the words, unsure of their meaning at first, but it didn't take too long for what the vorcha said to become apparent. She gave the two vorcha a grin.

I have a girl for this evening's show...

“You girl? Come inside! Getting started soon!”

Liara looked shocked, the pair getting the wrong idea about her presence. She turned and motioned for Miranda, who walked over next to Liara and gave a look of disgust as her eyes met with the vorchas'.

“No, no, the girl is right here,” Liara said, motioning to Miranda. The vorcha seemed almost taken aback, the tall, curvy, alluring human before them among the most gorgeous they had every seen. Certainly more attractive than the normal participants in such entertainment. Keeping their eyes locked on her, they fumbled at the control panelof the door before it opened, allowing Liara and Miranda to journey into the den of debauchery. After a few steps, they met a large krogan bouncer, his hands clenching a huge shotgun.

“I don't know what you girlies want, but I think you're in the wrong place...might want to leave before things get...messy...” grumbled the krogan as both a threat and a warning.

This is the only girl for tonight's entertainment. Please escort her to the proper area and explain to any who ask that she is eagerly awaiting being a part of the show...

Before the krogan could heed Liara's orders, she turned to Miranda, who looked slightly fearful as the hulking brute approached her.

You will go with this krogan and do everything that anyone tells you to do. No act is too vile, nothing is off limits. You will let them do anything to do that they seem fit. Do you understand?

“Of course, not a problem,” Miranda said in her icy tone. Her fear vanished immediately, tailing behind the krogan as Liara looked around the room, a messy enclosure that reeked of old meat and some kind of fluid that was seeping out of the walls. A bright, neon arrow pointed to a door, a small sign reading “Gallery” underneath it that Liara followed until she was met with a rather large crowd of lowlifes. Each one of them; turian, human, krogan, salarian, batarian, even a few asari, seemed eager as they gathered around what appeared to be a large pen. The area was closed off, keeping an open circle that was illuminated with bright lights. This area stunk even more than the previous room Liara was in did, the heavy musk of all the men gathered hanging heavy in the air and making her both nauseous and aroused at the same time. She wasn't sure just what was about to happen, but her questions would be answered in due time as a skittish-looking salarian walked into the middle of the ring.

“Ladies and gents! Good evening and welcome to my establishment. We have a real treat for you tonight; apparently, our normal girls are being put aside for an eager newcomer; quite the little minx, if you ask me! Why don't you come on out, honey!”

The salarian motioned towards the door he came from, which opened and revealed Miranda to the whole crowd. The roared in anticipation as she walked down the aisle with a rocking gait, her hips swaying with every step as she stood next to her host. The crowd gave an uproarious applause, the human woman's flawless beauty and sensual curves a far cry from the normal participants in such a perverse showing. Miranda waved unsuredly to the gathered menagerie of species, turning to them all as the applause began to die down and the salarian went back to addressing them.

“I've been told that this little whore is willing to do just about anything we ask her to do, isn't that right, er...why don't you tell us all your name! Tell us a little about yourself!”

“My name is Miranda Lawson, and I work for Cerberus...” Miranda said in a bashful tone. The crowd hissed and booed as she spoke, the name of the pro-human terrorist group shaking the ire of the mixed races that had gathered. Even the salarian beside her seemed shocked, looking fearful that a riot might break out then and there, but quick spoke back up to ease the tension.

“Hahah...uhh...I'm sure she's just kidding, folks. I doubt that a Cerberus agent would be taking part in our little...display...and even if she is, hell, that just means she's going to learn a little bit about loving an alien, ain't that right ladies and gents?”

Those gathered cheered again as Liara looked on in wonderment. She could scarcely believe just how powerful the device was proving; even the strong-willed Miranda had fallen to its suggestion. She wasn't sure if it was the prospect of seeing Miranda follow her instruction or that the device might prove to be a more powerful weapon than she thought, but Liara became excited as she thought about all the potential applications of the mind-altering tech.

Her concentration broke when the salarian again motioned to the door where Miranda had entered from, this time revealing a...
