The Admiralty is chiefly based on the island of Logos two days sail from the western coast of Itheria, just north of the Frostpeaks. But they share borders with Goldfields to their northeast dividing the coast with a singular city on the mainland. The archipelago that houses Logos is made of over seventy islands large enough to house small villages but only three main cities exist. The city of Logos on the island bearing it’s name is the capital of the Duchy but not the largest city.

Logos is divided into the lower city housing the working class which is mainly thatched and wooden housing. Typhoons have destroyed this part of the city multiple times. While the typhoons themselves are a yearly event there is only one destructive enough to damage the lower city once a generation. It is home to most of the working class and the trade center of the island

As Logos has taken responsibility for protecting sea-lanes across the coast of Itheria it is paramount that the fleet has a protected naval presence on the islands. The more protected Lord Admiral’s Cove is reserved as the Admiralty’s military port. The Lord Admiral’s Cove has two main highways that connect it directly with the Crown, and above that, Serpent’s Crest.

The area known as the Crown district does not actially house the Lord Admiral, but rather it is the political center for the rest of the Lagan Admirals and captians. The Admiraty grants everyone elevated to the rank of captian a home within the district for them to stay safely within the gaze of the Serpent’s Crest when they are staying on the island. While the Lord Admiral would never admit it the is equally an intimidation tactic as recognition of the faith and importance the Duchy places in it’s naval leadership.

The Serpent’s Crest is named for the large ridge on which it sits. From this overlook the Lord Admiral has a full view of the entirety of the island and a direct line to the fleet if the situation demands. Just below the Serpent’s Crest is the Crown District.

The largest city within the Duchy of Logos is not even within the archipelago itself. The trade port of Tarin is one of the main entry points for goods entering the mainland. It sits on the western coast, just north of the marshes that lead into the Frostpeaks. The city is currently under the control and protection of the Lord Admiral but his claim to it is eagerly contested by the lords and ladies of Goldfields.

Tarin sits in the bay separating Goldfields and the Frostpeaks and as such is protected by three of the kingdoms strongest Duchies. That doesn’t stop the Elven Corsairs of Lethellan, the pirates of the south-lands or any number of external threats to the kingdom’s trade. It’s importance to the kingdom’s economy cannot be understated and the king has made this fact abundantly clear to the new Lord Admiral.
