Ryan, upon realising his mistake, went after Sarah.

"You're not gonna tell Ethan about this, aren't you?"

Sarah, whose face was tear-stained, heaved a sigh,"Of course not, Ryan,"frowning a bit now,"I know you've been wanting this for a long time. You think I didn't noticed it that while Ethan was having a crush on me, you also did?"

Oh shit, here we go.

"It's just that, right now, I love Ethan, Ryan. I'm happy with him now, and I don't want any of this to be put to waste just because I cheated. As much as I want kids, and even though I know I can't, Ethan is the right one for me. I know this is really hard for you to take in, but you're too late for me and I'm too late for you."

"It's not that I don't love you, Jake. I do love you. As much as Ethan. But we can't go any further, Jake. We just, can't. Goodbye, Ryan". Sarah kissed him on the cheek and left.

Tears were swelling up in Ryan's eyes. What was he even thinking? Betraying his own brother? That's not right. That's not even Ryan-right. Whatever Sarah said was true. Ethan deserved Sarah and Sarah deserved Ethan.
