"The two will face opposite directions."

"Here. Take a look at this one." Caroline said as she looked at the book. "Facing opposite directions, the two will remain stuck fast and held together by their skin." She reads. "Facing opposite directions? So, back to back?"
"I think that's what that means." Jane says.
"That seems simple enough..."
"Wanna go for it?"
"Uh... I guess... It seems a lot more tame than most of the stuff I've seen in this book." The two of them then press their backs together before Caroline began to read the book.
"Reen al ni la du restos." Caroline said. Nothing immediately began to happen.
"Did you read it right?" Jane asks.
"I think so... This isn't exactly an AP English book..."
"Try reading it again."
"Reen al ni la du restos." Caroline reads. This time however, the two of them began to feel something.
"Ooo... You feel that?"
"You mean the feeling of being sunburnt, but not? Yeah, I can feel that." Caroline replies. Jane tries to take a step forward, but she feels a tugging in her back as she ends us pulling Caroline with her.
"Woah, woah!" Caroline squeals as she tries to regain her balance. She pulls forward again, this time pulling Jane.
"Hey! Wait a minute!" Jane shouts. She then tries to turn around to try and look at Caroline, but obviously their backs stay stuck together. The two of them spin in a circle as they try to understand what's happening. Eventually they feel a **** in their spines pulling towards each other like a pair of magnets. While the pressure wasn't excruciating, it was beginning to frighten them. They could feel their skin and flesh melting and pressing together. They could feel their butt cheeks smush and melt together, forcing them to take a more leaned back posture as they try and keep each other upright. Luckily, it seemed to stop before it reached their shoulders and their necks, so they could still move them with relative ease.

"Oh my God, Jane... What the fuck just happened?" Caroline asked.
"We're stuck!" Jane shouts as she tries to comprehend it all. They felt the sides of their body and found almost no seam between the two of them. They tried to pull in different directions, but didn't budge. "Yep... We're stuck..."
"Great... Now what do we do?..." Caroline asked. The two of them look at the book again.
"What do you want to do?..."
