Chapter 7 by Shibbar Shibbar

His face turned beet red.

"No!"

The fairy shrugged. "Suit yourself. I could've given you a proper good time." She floated away and sat herself down on a nearby stone. "Though, it is nice to see that there are still people with standards," she paused to crack a grin, "the names Easme. What's yours?"

"Hopkins."

"Nice to meet'cha." She leaned back, her arms acting as supports. "So Hopkins, what do you think you're doing here?"

The question caught him off guard. "Village be attacked soon. I am out to see if I find anything that help."

"Oh! That's terrible! I always liked you guys, you never bother anyone!" Easme giggled as if she almost didn't care, which ticked Hopkins off inside. "Oh don't be like that," she continued as if sensing his reaction, "I do mean that genuinely. We fairies sometimes have trouble passing off as serious."

The answer eased Hopkins somewhat.

"Well I hope you're not thinking of doing anything to the stones, because otherwise, we're going to have a big problem! Hee-hee!"

"N-not thinking to!"

He took the threat to heart. Best to not anger the fairies. There's already problems as is.
