Jane opened her eyes to the morning light. She rose to her feet off of the cold stone roof and stretched out spreading her red wings while yawning. She hadn't had the best nights sleep on the cold concrete roof but she had just been able to return to the mortal world after having been banished for over a hundred years. She glanced down at the people below going about their daily lives and smiled gently at them.
