"Do you have any idea..."

Alicia stares at you for a solid twenty seconds before she speaks. "Do you have any idea how loud the two you were? Hmm?"

"Uh..what do you mean?" You ask, though of course you know what she's talking about. Though you wonder why she hasn't said the magic words 'I knew it!' about the situation. Or 'I was right!'

"You know what I mean. Breaking down that friendship wall last night." Alicia answers.

"Uh...not really, no."

"You kept me awake the whole night, buster!"

By now you are supremely confused, you would have thought that she'd be pissed, or vindicated in her attitude. Instead she's pissed because you kept her awake. You shake your head, "What's going on?"

She shakes her head, "Not much really, just wanted to know how you got her. How did you get into Melody's pants, Jack."

Your heart sinks a bit as you think she's going to make your life a living hell. "It wasn't intentional..." you start.

"I know that. Neither of you were willing to risk your friendship over what everyone knew already." She says, "So how did it happen. Last I checked with her she was going to go out with Keith last night, and she had hoped he was going to pop the question. What happened there?"

The mention of Keith gets your blood up a bit, "He was cheating on her. She got there and he asked her a question alright. The question though was about a threesome."

"No fucking way!" Alicia muttered, her face going to stone. She eyes you a second, "You wouldn't do that to her, would you?"

"What? No. I'd never cheat on her. I've never cheated on anyone." You say, the very idea disgusting you.

"And...you love her don't you?" Alicia asks, her voice oddly soft.

"Yes. I truly do."

"Good. Next time though...a little discretion would be much appreciated." Alicia says, "And..congratulations. Took you long enough."

"Huh?"

"Oh come on, I knew right away that you loved her, but was afraid to admit it. And I figured out later that Melody felt the same about you. The lengths she went to defend you was amazing, and painful." Alicia answers.

You wince as you remember the time that Melody almost knocked Alicia out for implying that you only wanted to fuck Melody. "I see."

"I'm happy for you. Now...be quiet." She says and leaves.

You stand there staring off into the empty space that Alicia had occupied before she just walked away.

You hear the bathroom door open and Melody walk out, "What's up?" She asks.
