Chapter 8 by SeriousBrainDamage SeriousBrainDamage

Did the Illusionist accept him?Did she put any conditions?

She was actually eager

"Why not?" said the Elf shrugging in her shoulders. "I mean, it's not like I have something better to do, honestly."
"Great! Thanks Lujanne, I promise you won't regret it. I'm a quick learner. Besides, Ibis has taught me a lot already, you won't have to go thorugh the basics this time."
"Ok, let's head back to the temple. Just give me the time to get changed and we can get started right away."
"Wait, you mean now?"
"Whenever else would you like to start learing about Moon if not at night?
"Make sense. I just thought we could start tomorrow. I come from a long journey, you know. I'm actually kind of tired right now."
"Very well, I suppose we can start tomorrow night, it's on you after all Callum, you're the one who wants to learn," shrugged the Elf as she walked away.

Callum followed her at safe distance. Nontheless, as they trod on the winding pathway to the Elven burg, he got a few more glimples of Lujanne 'moon' peeking from under the hem of his jacket. In all honesty, he had to admit he didn't expect the old Illusionist to have such nice bum. To be truth, for all he had seen, all of her body looked oddly fit and firm for woman of her age, whatever that was. Was that an Elf thing, he wondered. He knew for sure that Elves could live centuries and aged very slowly.

"Well, I'll be still meditating for a little while in the temple if you need anything. See you tomorrow in the afternoon," said Lujanne once they had reached the burg.
"I'm more of a morning person. Just saying..."
"I think you should consider becoming a night person if you really want to connect with the Moon, Callum, just saying... Besides, I sleep in the morning."
"Point taken. I'll see you tomorrow then. In the afternoon," agreed the young Mage, "Wait, is it early afternoon or late afternoon?"
"Somewhen between noon and sunset," sighed the Elf. " What? I'm an hermit, I don't have a tight schedule usually." With this, Callum and Lujianne parted ways.
The Human Prince fell asleep easily once he touched his bed.

When Callum woke up, the sun was already high.
He spent what little remained of the morning eating the breakfast Ellis had prepared for him, sat on a rock next to Jackass.
Lujanne came to him roughly an hour after noon. She was wearing her usual silver-embroidered attire and her hair was properly done.
"Morning," she yawned,"Here's your jacket. Ugh, I'm not used to these early starts."
"Early start? It's way past noon."
"Don't speak, please. At very least for the next hour. Unless it is very, very, very necessary. Let me do the talking for a bit, ok?"
Callum nodded, he felt ready and excited to have his first real lesson of Moon Magic.
"Come, let go for a walk," said the Elf.

What was Lujanne first lesson?
