Lots of Switches

One minor change you caused is that there are willows, hazels, and birches growing everywhere now. Apparently it is a custom at the university for girls who rush to celebrate their entrance by getting a switching, and then planting a tree of the same sort that was used on them. It makes preparing for the punishment pretty easy, as you explain what is going to happen to the thief - her name is Abby, as it turns out. She does not object at all, nodding her head meekly to whatever you say.

That's not a surprise, once you think about it for a moment. Every girl in the courthouse had been thrashed raw, and while she will certainly share a similar bottom to them by the time you are all finished, there is no risk of her getting the extra punishments that might come in court.

Obediently, Abby strips off her skirt, leaving her naked below the waist, her bottom just faintly pink. You ask her what that was from. "Professor Stevenson thought that my essay wasn't up to my usual quality, especially not compared to Emily's. So he bent me over his knee and gave me a quick dozen with my brush." She says, and you nod, before she scampers over to the nearest tree to break off a long branch the size of her thumb, before running to another tree to do the same there. She doesn't seem particularly embarrassed by the thought of running around campus half naked, even if she has to go from here to the administration building to get an apple switch.
