Neutral Territory
You live in one of the neautral territories. Within the borders of these small countries everyone is, relatively, equal regardless of gender, but of course there are exceptions, and equal doesn't mean normal. Some of these territories are very open, with public nudity and sex as acceptable as the empire, perhaps even more so. In others slavery is common, and maybe even consensual. Life within these territories is free from the fear of the empire, or the domination of either it or the Free Man States, as both, begrudgingly, accept these countries.
There are some whom think of theses territories as heaven, others who are brain washed or mislead to think of theme as hell. What ever the case, this is where you live, and where you stay...for now.
