Kyoshi Island

I watched as we got closer to Kyoshi Island sitting on a rhino. We saw the effect of the Avatar returning to the Southern Air Temple after we made a stop at Zhao's location for some repairs, I made sure my uncle (Iroh, one would have to get used to being in this world) stayed on the ship warning him that I don't trust Zhao not to try anything which he tried and failed to get the information about the Avatar and tried to beat me in a Agni Kai for control over my ship.

Later at a stop for supplies as we headed for the north pole after I pointed out he was still headed north to learn from a waterbender and that he's a teen who had never been outside his home before and likely was checking out places that were the vacation spots from 100 years ago. Unique landmarks, unusual flora or fauna, and the like that someone who was raised like Aang would be interested in. We heard info that the Avatar's at Kyoshi Island, unlike the show I stayed with my uncle drying pointing we were still loading up on supplies. I have been practicing with my firebending skills getting more used to them and started using a pair of blades learning from some of the men on the ship.

I turn to the men behind me. "Remember, Kyoshi Island is still known as neutral to the war. Unless you are in battle with the Avatar or defending yourself don't damage the buildings or harm those living in the settlements. Even then limit the damage to the settlement you are in and move the fight outside of it best of your ability. Anyone who disobeys me or starts a fight will be handed over to the Kyoshi Warriors, understood!" I ordered. "Yes sir!" was the reply I was given.

We rode down the ramp and headed towards the main village. The villagers quickly got out of sight, some of them looking out of the windows of their homes. We came to the main square of the village and saw the statue of Avatar Kyoshi freshly painted. 'Well he's here.' I thought as several Kyoshi Warriors came towards us with Aang and his friends. "We are only here for the Avatar, we have no quarrel with you." I tell the Warriors. One of them steps forward, I could tell it was Suki and planted a seed that would grow into a need to be with me in the form of love once she notices setting it half an hour before I came here like I had done to .

"And why would we believe you with the vanguard you brought with you?" She asked me. "This is all of those that could be spared from my ship, the only fire nation ship here and I brought them in the event the Avatar starts a fight."I tell her before continuing looking at Aang and his friends. "And before you even start I was working under the belief that you were over a hundred and skilled with all four styles of bending, not you having been frozen in ice for the last hundred years or so. That is why I acted as I did at the south pole and would had stopped when half the homes were gone, I wasn't going to let them die of the cold." I bluntly told the three. "Come with me peacefully and I'll let your friends go, we only want you and my father wanted you at the Fire nation capital, for what reason I know not besides allowing me to return home." I tell them painting myself as someone just doing a job he had to do as well as wanting to return to my home, which is somewhat true.

Aang looks to have think on it for a bit but shook his head no. I sighed wary. "Then you leave me **** but to use ****. I pref-." I tell them readying myself for a fight and was then slammed into by a blast of air before I was finished speaking as Aang attacked first after I did a little mental work on him that wouldn't last more than a hour, making him more likely to attack using the memory of what he found at the Southern Air Temple. I used the **** of it to land on the ground as my men charged forward aiming away from the Warriors and the buildings to **** the Avatar's group out of the village. "He could have at least let me finish speaking." I said aloud before running forward and getting back on my rhino. I was about to head out when Suki spoke up. "Your not like the Fire Nation we heard of." I looked at her. "I'm Zuko, Prince of the Fire Nation. I'm doing this to be able to return to the Fire Nation after being exiled for unknowingly calling out my father on a war plan that would had costed us good men for a trap that only a fool would miss. He's the one who give me this scar after I was **** to face him in a Agni Kai, which is a fight between to fire benders at noon." He explained to them getting a few looks of horror act the Fire Lord's actions.

"He sent me on this mission so I can "reclaim my honor". I just want to be able to return to my home nation when ever I want to. I can regain my honor on my own time." I tell them before heading off after seeing what looked to be a couple of fires starting from the fight. "Great." I deadpanned as I quickly got to the battlefield seeing the Air Boson taking off. I sighed in annoyance before looking around and seeing some of the fires starting to set trees on fire. "Get those fires put out before they cause a forest fire now!" I shouted at my men. I worked with them and we stopped the fires before they got out of control.

I had my men return to the ship after we were done and was getting it ready to leave a couple of hours later when one of the sailors came up to me. "Sir! One of the Kyoshi Warriors says she wants to speak to you. Your uncle is talking with her now." He tells me. "Continue with your work." I tell him with a nod of thanks. I walked out to the desk to see my Uncle talking with Suki. 'Why is she here?' for while I did do some work it would had taken a couple of months at least for it to have a effect. "Prince Zuko, I haven't told you my name it's Suki." She tells me. "Greetings Suki. What brings you here?" I asked her. "Seeing you off and to give my thanks. Mr. Iroh here told me of the orders you give your men and of you putting out the fires your men started during the fight. Know we will still be neutral though you may see us out in the Earth Kingdom. I plan to take some of my Warriors out to help the refugees." She tells me. That gives me a idea. "Wait a bit. Uncle come with me for a minute." I ask him catching her by surprise.

I asked him about giving her a missive to allow her and her Warriors to be able to travel without trouble aside from the more difficult commanders and generals. He agreed with me and the two of us wrote it down and signed it and placed our seals on it. We prepared a letter and had it sent to the Capital before we joined Suki on the deck once more. "Here, this is a missive signed my me and my Uncle . It should help you has you travel without trouble from most of them. There may be some that won't believe it due to how limited our authority is with how things are for us but we did sent a letter to my father so it may have more. Anyway it should help." I tell her. She thanks me and leaves the ship as we head out going north once more.
