Chapter 7 by Rowenar Rowenar

What effect does her power have on Supergirl?

It works!

It was almost impressive. One moment Supergirl stood there, hands on her hips, blue top and red skirt and red boots and stockings, all capped off with that red S, every inch the hero.

And then that red and blue became little more than a blur for a fraction of a second, and all that heroism was replaced by a thoroughly naked blonde. Stripping at superspeed, who'd have thought?

The striking pose became rather different; apparently even aliens blushed. Her hands returned to her hips for only an instant, then she screamed as she suddenly realised what she'd done.

She glanced sideways nervously, to the just-as-naked Alex who stared back incredulously.

Kara mimicked Alex's pose, covering herself with a little more success thanks to less slender limbs, though it was still quite a treat to see her go from hero to blushing, with so much of her toned body on display.

Though Erin had to falter. This world was a little unpredictable; it wasn't her own. The van and 'Alex' was proof of that. There were worse things to do than take some time out to be safe.

"Supergirl!" Erin shouted. "We need to get out of here!"

She moved closer to Cynthia; it wouldn't do to lose her ticket to the rest of the multiverse.

She sent out a little friendship, making Supergirl linger in the street rather than flying off immediately, making her want to help. Supergirl faltered, plainly wanting to reach out but also mortified.

"Supergirl, don't-" Alex said, breathless.

A little more friendship, make sure Supergirl trusted Erin...

A flesh-coloured blur and Supergirl, Erin and Cynthia vanished. Alex yelped, staring at the spot where her sister had been; then, beet-red, she crouched and hurriedly started to get back into her jumpsuit.

Oh god, she was never going to live this down was she?

And where the hell was Kara?!

Erin gasped for air; that was almost more disorienting than going through breaches. Even Cynthia seemed stunned by the rapid movement. Slowly, Erin looked around. A rooftop; maybe that wasn't a surprise. Supergirl wouldn't have wanted to rush to another public place without more incentive.

This was probably for the better though. She focused, keeping Supergirl around with some friendship.

"Are you ok?" Supergirl said.

She stepped back, once more trying to cover herself with her arms.

Now that was a thought; had she and Cynthia just been carried by the naked superhero? God, Erin wished she could remember things that happened so quickly.

"No!" Cynthia yelped. "I need clothes, so do you, this-"

"We're fine," Erin said. "How about you?"

"I, uh- I normally have my suit," Supergirl said.

"Just friends here, you don't need to worry," Erin said. More friendship... "So, what do I call you? Just Supergirl?"

"Uh, Kara," the blonde said. Her cheeks were still flushed.

Idly, Erin considered the fact that creating friendships meant she could theoretically get the identity of whatever vigilante she wanted. There was probably money in that, who knew how many people would want to know that kind of secret?

Ah well, this was more fun.

"So, what's in your bag of tricks, Kara?" Erin said. "Just that flight and speed?"

"And strength," Kara said. "And heat vision, and x-ray vision-"

"Hold up," Erin said. "X-ray vision? Seriously? God, I'd have so much fun with that."

There was a moment's pause. Distracted, Erin's gaze flicked up and down Kara's form; it was hard to believe she was an alien.

"I-i's not like-" Kara said.

"Are you telling me you've never seen anything fun?" Erin said.

"I, uh-" Kara flushed.

"We're friends, right?" Erin said. "Spill the beans."

"I don't- I don't try!" Kara said. She squeaked. "But if I want to look through a wall, it's a transition. I see inside the wall before I see what's on the far side. So if I want to look past someone, I need to..."

"Look through their clothes before you can see anything else," Erin said. "Nice."

"It's quick!" Kara insisted. "Less than a second, I don't try to-"

"Given how fast you move, less than a second has to be something you can look at for a while," Erin said.

Kara faltered. Somehow her cheeks got even redder.

Erin smiled.

"No judgement," Erin said. "In fact, that could be useful. I could use your opinion; you can let me know who looks the best naked, saves me needing to go around with trial and error."

"What?!" Kara yelped. "I don't- I'm not-"

More friendship... Erin sighed slightly, but it did nothing to diminish her enthusiasm.

Already on this world she'd seen that rather attractive Alex naked, and had Supergirl right in front of her. It was promising enough already.

"What's a secret among friends?" Erin said. "Who'd you enjoy getting a glimpse under the clothes of?"

What's Kara's answer?
