I'll need some orientation first

I looked around. I crashed down in a jungle. From the clearing I had landed on three paths led away. In one direction, on the horizon I saw some tall houses that grew out of a city. That was probably the central district - the last place I wanted to be. The second path led into the jungle and, after perhaps 400 feet wound so much that it was impossible to tell where it was leading. The last path led past a few trees to a larger clearing where I saw hut made out of clay and wood with a roof of leaves.

it took me some time to decide which way to go.
