Futurama

Whisked across space, across logic and across time the twin rings find themselves in an Earth not their own. While the wider universe was greatly populated with a cast of colorful characters the rings had elected Earth for it had the dumbest people around and the inhabitants spoke the Universal Common known as "English" which made it easier on readers. Pinking and plinking off various surfaces across New New York the twin rings found themselves in a package being carried by a youngish hapless delivery boy of the 21st century Phillip Jay Fry. Unbeknownst to him he was delivering objects of such incredible and unexplainable dangerous potential and for once it wasn't a Doomsday weapon from the professor.

Ducking and weaving through the busy streets Fry made his way to his last delivery spot of the shift.
