Color

The two spent a few minutes lying on the bed in each other's arms, until Ashley asked "Hey, Spence, are you and Cindy a thing, or?"

"We've fooled around together, but I'm exclusive to you now."

"She'll be okay with it?"

"I'm sure she's already moved on."

Ashley chuckled. "She's that kind of girl?"

"Yeah. Seriously though, I'll never betray you like that." Spencer's began touching Ashley's body. "Especially when you're offering me all of this."

"I know... it's just good to hear."

"Do you want me to stay? I'm free for the weekend."

"To be honest, I'd love that."

"Not a problem."

"God I miss feeling like this."

"Like what?"

"Like I can trust a man."

"That's good. I want that for you. I want you to be able to tell me your deepest secrets, like your bank details, and your credit card number."

Ashley burst out laughing before giving Spencer a playful slap. "Cheeky."

"So, what shall we do now?"

"You know, I'm in the mood to paint."

"Sure. Do you mind me watching?"

"Not at all."

Ashley got out of the bed, and reached into her wardrobe, pulling out blue overalls that wore collateral paint from many of her artworks. Spencer said "Will this get messy?"

"A bit. I can give you a smock?"

"Sure."

Once Spencer got dressed, Ashley asked "Would you mind making some coffees?"

"Not at all."

"I've got some cookies in the cupboard too, if you don't mind."

"Sounds great."

Spencer prepared the drinks, and then entered the art room, where Ashley brought a blank canvas to life with a variety of colors. This painting was much more vibrant in color than the other. He placed the drink and the cookies down, but Ashley seemed to be in her own world. As he watched her paint, he began to realize that the painting, whilst abstract, was of two people getting intimate. He smiled upon realizing he'd become Ashley's muse.

Once done, Ashley said "Like it?"

"I think it's great."

"You know, I think I've worked up a serious hunger. Shall we go out for dinner tonight?"

"I would love to."
