Claw of a succubus

If it weren't for the note, you would have guessed it was a talon from a hawk (or something similar). It was a sharp, pointed nail/claw of an onyx shade. At the tip shimmered some dried residue. Blood?

With trepidation, you reach into the box and pull it out, noticing a crumpled note underneath. The note reads:

"Claw of a succubus"

That has to be a joke, right? You barely know what a succubus is, but regardless, you know they aren't real. What's next? A vial of vampire blood?

Still, you handle the claw with care. Something in your gut tells you to avoid scratching yourself with it...
